Be Real

The prayer preceding all prayers is "May it be the real I who speaks.
May it be the real Thou that I speak to." -C.S. Lewis

Amen!

I read somewhere that prayer isn't limited to the pre-lunch, pre-dinner time with God or sitting down, kneeling with closed-eyes saying either a short/long prayer to God. It's a 24/7 ACT where you'll be talking to Him just about everything in life, as you sing His praises, as you think of a soul that as wandered from the faith or lost, as you remember a brother or sister in the church, as you think if your business, as you think of our country and the soldiers in other countries, as you sleep and dream, as you read a book and have a thought to share with God, as you kiss your spouse and say how lovely you are (praising God for His creation), as you give childbirth and thousands more..

Prayer isn't just to say the same words over and over to God, it's your everyday thought as you live life.
